Cardboard inserts for insect raring

Cardboard inserts (x100 per pack) for insect enclosures.

Dimensions: 300 x 465mm per insert (50mm high)

Packs include 100 inserts, measuring ~300mm high x 300 x 465mm, weigh ~2.5kg.

These avocado packing inserts, or moulded fibre (card board) allows airflow and absorbs moisture, releasing moisture when ambient conditions are drier than internal conditions. Place them in pairs back to front, and sit side by side for as many needed relative to enclosure size.

They will last a relatively long period (>3months), obviously depends on the number and density of insects within the enclosure.

When you want to harvest insects to feed to your pets, you lift one or more inserts and shake into a tub/bucket/funnel, and the insects fall out ready for handling. Then replace until next time.

Replace inserts when they become dirty or too wet. Bury in garden as they make great compost/mulch as are covered in frass (insect poo).
